Home Water Purification & Filtration Systems SINGLE FAUCET UNITS
1. SINGLE POD 1-MICRON
MULTI-MEDIA
This unit is for municipal water when you are assured that the municipal system has killed the bacteria and viruses (usually via chlorine). You are most concerned about parasites and the possibility of seepage from any hazardous chemicals or metals. You also want to rid the water of the excess chlorine, bad taste and odor. This proprietary 1-Micron Multi-Media Filter will handle those needs. In some rare instances you may be getting too much of a particular problem, such as too much iron or sulphur, etc. (This is very uncommon with a municipal water source.) It may require two of these filters in tandem to offset that.
This unit sits on your counter top next to the sink and very simply has an attachment to connect to your faucet where there is usually an aerator. You pull out a simple diverter valve whenever you desire to run the cold water through the filter for drinking, cooking or washing. The 1-Micron Multi-Media Filter is replaced in just a moment or two, disposing of the old. The filter is rated for 5,000 gallons or one year.
2. SINGLE POD 1-MICRON
MULTI-MEDIA This unit is also for municipal water when you are assured that the municipal system has killed the bacteria and viruses (usually via chlorine). You are most concerned about parasites and the possibility of seepage from any hazardous chemicals or metals. You also want to rid the water of the excess chlorine, bad taste and odor. This proprietary 1-Micron Multi-Media filter will handle those needs. This unit is placed on the floor in the rear of the cabinet under your sink. With the “Tap” for the cold water line and the “Separate Faucet Connection” you get your own purified cold water faucet on your sink counter (usually in one of the sink “knock-outs” or where the sprayer might have gone).
3. SINGLE POD 1-MICRON
MULTI-MEDIA This unit is also for municipal water. This unit is placed on the floor in the rear of the cabinet under your sink. With the “Tap” for the cold water line you actually cut your cold water line and attach its two parts to the input and output of the filter unit. Now, ALL cold water running through this faucet will be purified. Be sure to replace the filter annually as you are running all cold water used through this filter.
4. DOUBLE POD 1-MICRON
MULTI-MEDIA This unit is also for municipal water when you are assured that the municipal system has killed the bacteria and viruses. In this instance you are concerned about silt that may be coming through the infrastructure to your faucet. Adding a simple re-usable pre-filter will keep the silt out of the purifier.
This unit is placed on the floor in the rear of the cabinet under your sink. You can use either the “Tap” for the cold water line and the “Separate Faucet Connection” or the “in-line” connection in Unit 3 above.
5.
UV
SYSTEM This unit is either for municipal water or when you pull from wells, rivers, ponds or lakes and when you are NOT assured that the municipal system has killed the bacteria and viruses. This system combines the 1-Micron Multi-Media Filter with an Ultra-Violet Filter to kill bacteria and viruses. Now you are getting the finest purified water.
This unit is placed on the floor in the rear of the cabinet under your sink. You can use either the “Tap” for the cold water line and the “Separate Faucet Connection” or the “in-line” connection in Unit 3 above. The UV bulb filter must be connected to an electric outlet. It is rated for 9,000 hours, or one year. While you need to be real careful in replacing the bulb (because they are delicate), it only takes a few minutes to slowly do this. 6.
